Free File Host - Pros and Cons

Since most of the users cannot download from FileFront.com, so i made up this post.
I've tried some popular free file host services, such as sendspace, rapidshare and megaupload.

Therefore, i will explain the pros and cons of these file hosts on the internet.
These are only my opinions for the file host services, and might be vary to other users.


sendspace
Pros

• Upload speed and Download speed are decent.


• Easy to handle.


• Does not require to register in order to upload /downlad files but register user can enjoy more privileges, such as using sendspace Wizard Tool to upload files.

Cons

• Limited upload file size - Max 300mb per file


• Inactive files will be deleted.


• Only premium users can download multiple files.


• Cannot download multiple files at once.


• Using web uploader might be failed at sometimes.


• Cannot use link protector to protect link.


• Not ad-free.

Rapidshare
Pros

• Upload speed and Download speed are decent.


• Easy to handle.


• Ad-free.


• Can use link protector to protect link.


• No time limit for uploaded files. (However, 90days inactive files will be deleted.)


• Premium user can enjoy more benefits, faster download speed.

Cons

• Limited upload file size - Max 100mb per file.


• Only premium users can download multiple files.


• Cannot download multiple files at once.


• Need to wait for certain time period to start another download.

Megaupload
Pros

• Upload speed and Download speed are decent.


• Easy to handle.


• Can use link protector to protect link.


• Not require to register in order to upload /download files. (Register users have more benefits by the way.)


• No time limit for uploaded files. (However, 90days inactive files will be deleted.)

Cons

• Limited upload file size - Max 500mb per file.


• Not ad-free.


• Cannot download multiple files at once.


• Only premium users can download multiple files.


• Need to wait for certain time period to start another download.


• Not accessible or being blacklisted at some country.
